This Dynamic Hip Flexor Stretch with the exercise Ball is part of the warm-up in The Hollywood Trainer “Blast The Belly Fat DVD” http://bit.ly/2tcFNKg This exercise will help lengthen the iliopsoas (hip flexor muscle) which originates in the front of the leg and inserts into the lower back. When this muscle is tight from too much hip flexion (running, walking, desk sitting, cycling) it can pinch on the sciatic nerve and cause extreme lower back pain.
